Aure Wines is a family run operation since 2007. At that time the farm's principal crop was Concord grape used for making juice.
Our varieties are Gamay, Cabernet Franc and Siegerrebe. We kept the existing 50 year old Marechal Foche with its small crop of good quality grapes, the care given these produces an intense flavored, full bodied wine.
Situated on the Niagara Escarpment above the Beamsville Bench. Aure Wines offers wine tasting and educational tours of the wine making process.
The winery also includes Silo Bistro which offers lunches and catering for special occasions.
With sustainability in mind, the building has many energy saving features including passive solar heating and a green roof. Our company follows ethical employment and environmental practises.
Our Tasting Bar offers a changing selection from our portfolio of wines. We ask for a $5 contribution for a flight of 3, all donated to local charities. or $10 for our reserves tasting accompanied by a cheese plate. If you decide to buy wines then we will refund $5 from your tasting contribution.
We will be closed from December 20th, 2016 until March 1st 2017. For recreation and maintenance.
